Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RCAN2 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RCAN2 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher RCAN2 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RCAN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
LIHC, SKCM, and ESCA are the cancer types where RCAN2 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
