Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBP7 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RBP7 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RBP7 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RBP7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.

HNSC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where RBP7 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
