Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBMY2EP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RBMY2EP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where RBMY2EP RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RBMY2EP is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC are the cancer types where RBMY2EP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
