Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBMX2P5 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 7 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RBMX2P5’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where RBMX2P5 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RBMX2P5 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where RBMX2P5 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
