Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBM4B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RBM4B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RBM4B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RBM4B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, UCEC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where RBM4B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
