Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBM4 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RBM4 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RBM4 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RBM4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

HNSC, LSCC, and PDAC are the cancer types where RBM4 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
