Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBM33 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RBM33 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RBM33 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RBM33 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and COAD show a favorable association.

HNSC, PDAC, and COAD are the cancer types where RBM33 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
