Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBM15B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 9 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RBM15B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where RBM15B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RBM15B is over-expressed in tumor.
LIHC, KIRP, and COAD are the cancer types where RBM15B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
