Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RBFA Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RBFA data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher RBFA Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RBFA expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
GBM and UCEC are the cancer types where RBFA Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
