Across TCGA patient cohorts, RBFA protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 2,720 significant associations in total. BRCA shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible RBFA-associated genes across cancer lineages are RAB27A, SNRNP27, and ADCY4. Each is linked with RBFA in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both RBFA-to-partner and partner-to-RBFA results are reported.
