Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RASSF8 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RASSF8 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RASSF8 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RASSF8 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and SARC are the cancer types where RASSF8 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
