Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RASSF1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RASSF1 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC), where higher RASSF1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RASSF1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and SKCM show a favorable association.
ACC, KIRC, and LGG are the cancer types where RASSF1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
