Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RASGEF1A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RASGEF1A data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RASGEF1A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RASGEF1A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
SKCM, UCEC, and BLCA are the cancer types where RASGEF1A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
