Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RARRES2 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RARRES2 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in glioblastoma multiforme (GBM), where higher RARRES2 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RARRES2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LUAD show a favorable association.

GBM, COAD, and LSCC are the cancer types where RARRES2 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
