Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RARRES1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RARRES1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher RARRES1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RARRES1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, UCEC, and PRAD are the cancer types where RARRES1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
