Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAP2B RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 13 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RAP2B’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where RAP2B RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RAP2B is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRP, KIRC, and HNSC are the cancer types where RAP2B tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
