Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAP1BP2 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RAP1BP2’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where RAP1BP2 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RAP1BP2 is over-expressed in tumor.
ESCA are the cancer types where RAP1BP2 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
