Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAP1AP RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAP1AP data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher RAP1AP RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAP1AP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and BRCA show a favorable association.
LUSC, LUAD, and KIRC are the cancer types where RAP1AP RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
