Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAET1M RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of RAET1M’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where RAET1M RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types RAET1M is over-expressed in tumor.
LUSC, HNSC, and KIRP are the cancer types where RAET1M tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
