Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAET1L RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAET1L data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where higher RAET1L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAET1L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and KICH show a favorable association.
KIRC, BRCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where RAET1L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
