Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAD51AP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAD51AP1 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher RAD51AP1 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAD51AP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and UCEC show a favorable association.

LSCC, UCEC, and HNSC are the cancer types where RAD51AP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
