Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAD21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAD21 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher RAD21 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAD21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA and UCEC show a favorable association.
BLCA, UCEC, and CHOL are the cancer types where RAD21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
