Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB9B RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAB9B data layer compared with 1 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RAB9B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB9B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and LGG show a favorable association.

LUAD, LGG, and PAAD are the cancer types where RAB9B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
