Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB8B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB8B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher RAB8B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB8B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and GBM show a favorable association.

PDAC, COAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where RAB8B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
