Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB7B RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAB7B data layer compared with 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher RAB7B RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LAML and MESO show a favorable association.
UVM, UCEC, and ACC are the cancer types where RAB7B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
