Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB7B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB7B data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher RAB7B mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB7B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and LUAD show a favorable association.
LSCC, LUAD, and PDAC are the cancer types where RAB7B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
