Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB6B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB6B data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RAB6B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB6B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, UCEC, and KICH are the cancer types where RAB6B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
