Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB5IF Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB5IF data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RAB5IF Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB5IF expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
SKCM are the cancer types where RAB5IF Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
