Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB5B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB5B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher RAB5B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
COAD, SKCM, and CESC are the cancer types where RAB5B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
