Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB5B mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB5B data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher RAB5B mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB5B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and CCRCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, GBM, and PDAC are the cancer types where RAB5B mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
