Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB42 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB42 data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in breast invasive carcinoma (BRCA), where higher RAB42 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB42 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
BRCA, KIRP, and UCEC are the cancer types where RAB42 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
