Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB40AL mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB40AL data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), where higher RAB40AL mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB40AL expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LSCC and HNSC are the cancer types where RAB40AL mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
