Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB40A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB40A data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher RAB40A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB40A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.

SKCM, COAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where RAB40A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
