Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB21 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated RAB21 data layer compared with 18 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher RAB21 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB21 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC and UCEC are the cancer types where RAB21 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
