Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, RAB1B RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated RAB1B data layer compared with 4 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in small cell lung cancer (SCLC), where higher RAB1B RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated RAB1B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and KIRC show a favorable association.
SCLC, ACC, and LIHC are the cancer types where RAB1B RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
