Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, QPCT Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated QPCT data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in stomach adenocarcinoma (STAD), where higher QPCT Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated QPCT expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
STAD, PCPG, and BLCA are the cancer types where QPCT Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
