Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PZP mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 7 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PZP data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 8 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher PZP mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PZP expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as OV and GBM show a favorable association.

LUAD, OV, and GBM are the cancer types where PZP mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
