Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PXDN RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PXDN data layer compared with 14 for mutation status and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uveal melanoma (UVM), where higher PXDN RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PXDN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and LAML show a favorable association.
UVM, MESO, and BLCA are the cancer types where PXDN RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
