Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PXDN mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PXDN data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 14 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PXDN mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PXDN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC show a favorable association.
CCRCC, LUAD, and GBM are the cancer types where PXDN mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
