Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PWWP3A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PWWP3A data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher PWWP3A Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PWWP3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
LUSC, OV, and READ are the cancer types where PWWP3A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
