Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PWP1 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 6 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PWP1 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PWP1 mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PWP1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and GBM show a favorable association.

CCRCC, COAD, and LUAD are the cancer types where PWP1 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
