Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PURG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PURG data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PURG Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PURG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC, ESCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where PURG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
