Across TCGA patient cohorts, PURG protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 5,258 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PURG-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIR147A, UPK3A, and IL2RB. Each is linked with PURG in more than 1 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PURG-to-partner and partner-to-PURG results are reported.
