Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PURB mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PURB data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher PURB mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PURB expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM show a favorable association.

UCEC, GBM, and HNSC are the cancer types where PURB mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
