Across TCGA patient cohorts, PUM1 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 13,254 significant associations in total. GBM shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible PUM1-associated genes across cancer lineages are LYPLA2, CDC20, and KHDRBS1. Each is linked with PUM1 in more than 5 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both PUM1-to-partner and partner-to-PUM1 results are reported.
