Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTX4 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTX4 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PTX4 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTX4 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, BLCA, and LUSC are the cancer types where PTX4 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
