Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTX3 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTX3 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (CCRCC), where higher PTX3 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTX3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

CCRCC, PDAC, and LUAD are the cancer types where PTX3 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
