Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTS Mutation is linked to patient survival in 1 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated PTS data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PTS Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTS expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD are the cancer types where PTS Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
