Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPRT-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 13 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTPRT-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher PTPRT-AS1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPRT-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BRCA and LGG show a favorable association.

COAD, LIHC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PTPRT-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
