Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, PTPRN2 RNA is linked to patient survival in 28 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated PTPRN2 data layer compared with 10 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher PTPRN2 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated PTPRN2 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and KIRC show a favorable association.
HNSC, KIRC, and UCEC are the cancer types where PTPRN2 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
